Simon Sterzenbach
Financial & Investment Controlling
Simon joined eCAPITAL’s Finance & Investment Controlling team in October 2023.
He started his academic career with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Wuppertal, including a semester abroad in Riga. Afterwards, he graduated from the University of Düsseldorf with an M.Sc. in Business Administration, specialising in (Entrepreneurial) finance. During his studies, he gained additional experience in controlling by working for a large public insurer in the area of investment risk controlling for several years.
Before joining eCAPITAL, Simon worked as a consultant at zeb consulting for over 2.5 years, advising banks and insurance companies on several topics, including IT-transformation and regulatory issues.
In his free time he enjoys jogging, squash and sailing.
