Generational change in challenging times

The venture capital industry is currently going through turbulent times. Declining investments, a lack of follow-up investments and the search for co-investors are challenges that currently determine the day-to-day business of venture capitalists.

These challenges can also be felt at eCAPITAL, although investors have responded positively to the company’s emphasis on deep tech and climate tech. The new Fund V received 162 million Euro from family offices and institutional investors, among others, with several million already invested in promising start-ups like 1KOMMA5° and beeOLED.

With the launch of the new fund, eCAPITAL marks a generational shift and introduces the youthful partners who will guide the company into the future.
