Hannes joined eCAPITAL initially in 2014. From 2021 to 2024 Hannes was a venture partner, and in 2024 he returned to an active partner role. Previous career stages include roles as financial director and management advisor to industrial technology companies. Prior to joining eCAPITAL in 2014, Hannes was at Innogy Venture Capital (a corporate VC in renewable energy and cleantech), worked in project- and M&A-valuations at German utility company RWE Innogy, peeked into M&A investment banking at Morgan Stanley, and started his career as a financial analyst in the automotive sector with Robert Bosch. Hannes is a general manager by training, holding a BA degree in international business administration of the DHBW Stuttgart and an MBA degree of the Tuck School of Business (Dartmouth College, USA).
Besides work, Hannes likes travelling and being active outdoors, and he does not shy away from any household repair or home improvement task.
