Prolupin

Prolupin is a spin-off of the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging in Freising. The company focuses on the development, manufacture and marketing of plant origin, lactose-free milk substitutes based on protein from blue sweet lupine (Lupinus angustifolius). This native legume is particularly rich in protein, undemanding to soil and climate and grows primarily in northern Germany (soybean of the North) or in Poland, Scandinavia, North America and Australia.
