Venture Capital from Westphalia

eCAPITAL NEWS
For more than 20 years, Paul-Josef Patt has been involved in venture capital to finance disruptive technologies from Germany.

He launched his own first fund with eCAPITAL ENTREPRENEURIAL PARTNERS AG in 2004. He collected 40 million euros – a proud achievement at a time when venture capital was an irritant in Germany. Further funds and successful exits followed, such as the sale of Novaled to Samsung or of sonnen to Shell. Both were the largest deep tech exits in Germany at the time of their respective sales. Who is the person behind eCAPITAL? Jonas Jansen investigated this question in last week’s FAZ and dedicated a portrait to Paul-Josef Patt. You can find it here.
