RIPS Technologies sold to SonarSource
PORTFOLIO NEWSSonarSource, itself known as the maker of the leading code quality tool SonarQube, is thereby accelerating its growth in the market for Static Application Security Testing (SAST).
The acquisition of RIPS Technologies will strengthen SonarSource’s security offering and broaden its reach with additional programming languages and analysis technologies, as the teams of both firms will join forces to provide state-of-the-art code analyzers for all types of programming languages.

For eCAPITAL as the only venture capital investor in RIPS Technologies, this is a very successful exit with an IRR of 63% already after just 2.5 years since first investing into the company.
