Numbat announces cooperation with EURONICS and Pfennings at 170 additional locations

PORTFOLIO NEWS
Numbat, the portfolio company of eCAPITAL specializing in sustainable high-power charging, announces two new collaborations with Euronics and Pfennings, significantly expanding the use of fast charging stations with renewable energy.

In collaboration with electronics retailer Euronics, Numbat will install innovative fast charging stations for electric vehicles at up to 100 Euronics locations. The charging stations will be powered by electricity from renewable sources and will allow Euronics customers to quickly recharge their vehicles while shopping.

In addition, Numbat will collaborate with the family-owned gas station chain Pfennings in the future to install modern Numbat charging systems at over 70 gas station locations. Both collaborations will increase customer satisfaction through fast charging options and promote the progress of e-mobility.

The “Numbat” is a fast charging station with two charging points that can charge an electric car up to 80% in 10-15 minutes with up to 300 kW. In addition, the integrated Numbat battery storage with a capacity of 200 kWh ensures sustainable energy management at the locations. The resulting advantages are, on the one hand, shorter delivery times, as no transformers for transformer stations are required, and on the other hand, costly and time-consuming construction measures can be avoided.

We are very pleased with these two important partnerships for our portfolio company Numbat. After Feneberg and tegut..., the two new cooperations are the next big step and show the enormous potential of Numbat.
