Invest4Cyber 2026: Europe’s Cybersecurity Investment Opportunity Takes Center Stage
EVENTSOn June 10th, Berlin once again became a meeting point for Europe’s cybersecurity ecosystem. Alongside SuperReturn and SuperVenture, the fourth edition of Invest4Cyber Networking Night, co-hosted by eCAPITAL, the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), and eurobits e.V., welcomed LPs, GPs, founders, policymakers, and industry leaders for an evening of strategic dialogue and valuable networking.
This year’s discussions centered around a simple but important question: Why is now the right time to invest in cybersecurity?
One of the evening’s highlights was the fireside chat between Patric Gresko, Head of Division at the European Investment Fund (EIF), and Krzysztof Szubert, Member of the United Nations IGF Leadership Panel. Together, they explored why Europe’s cybersecurity ecosystem is entering a new phase of growth and how initiatives such as the €1.75 billion DEF 2.0 EIF Fund of Funds are expected to mobilize up to €3 billion in investment for the sector.
The panel discussion, “Europe’s Cybersecurity Moment: Why the Investment Opportunity Is Real,” added further perspectives from across the ecosystem. Experts from venture capital, legal, research, industry, and market development discussed why cybersecurity has become one of Europe’s strongest DeepTech investment opportunities, driven by increasing regulation, AI, geopolitical developments, and growing market demand.
The evening concluded with a series of GP Elevator Pitches, where leading European investors shared their investment strategies and outlook on the next generation of cybersecurity companies.
More than ever, Invest4Cyber demonstrated the importance of bringing together investors, founders, policymakers, and industry experts to strengthen Europe’s cybersecurity ecosystem. The conversations throughout the evening reflected a shared conviction: Europe’s cyber champions will be built through collaboration, innovation, and long-term investment.
