eCAPITAL NEWS Steffen has been part of eCAPITAL since 2016. Over the years he has become a driving force behind our investment strategy in Energy, CleanTech, Cybersecurity, and DeepTech, working closely with founders and co-investors across Europe.
His track record includes successful investments and exits such as envelio (investment in 2019, acquired by E.ON in 2021) and IPlytics (investment in 2019, acquired by RELX Group in 2022). Beyond individual transactions, Steffen has helped refine eCAPITAL’s investment theses, supported portfolio companies through growth, fundraising and exit processes, and played a key role in shaping our Cybersecurity activities and strategy from an early stage. His most recent investment, Apheris AI, as well as earlier Tenzir, underline his continued focus on Cybersecurity and DeepTech.
Steffen’s promotion reflects these achievements and underscores eCAPITAL’s continued commitment to strengthening its leadership team for the future. We congratulate Steffen on this milestone and look forward to the continued impact of his work with our founders, partners and investors.
