eCAPITAL Invests in Silicon Saxony: Europe’s Deep-Tech Hub Continues to Grow

The daily newspaper DIE WELT reports on the continued growth of Silicon Saxony, one of Europe’s leading technology clusters. Over the past year, approximately 1,500 new jobs were created in the semiconductor and software industries, bringing total employment in the sector to around 82,500. Industry representatives view this as evidence of the region’s long-term attractiveness and expect further growth, driven by investments across the value chain as well as key future trends such as artificial intelligence, digitalization, and technological sovereignty.

As a result, Silicon Saxony continues to strengthen its position as one of Europe’s most important innovation and deep-tech hubs.
