Bernd Arkenau appointed to the Management Board of eCAPITAL AG

Bernd Arkenau, a long-standing team member of eCAPITAL AG, will succeed Michael Mayer in January 2021, who has retired from the management board. He will continue to support eCAPITAL with his extensive venture capital experience as a partner.

Bernd Arkenau has been part of the eCAPITAL AG team since 2010. After working as a business analyst and investment manager, he became a partner at eCAPITAL AG in 2017. Before joining eCAPITAL, he worked in research and development, engineering and new business development. Bernd Arkenau holds a degree in engineering from RWTH Aachen with a focus on process engineering and innovation management. Due to his experience, he is particularly interested in sustainability issues.
