beeOLED develops breakthrough OLED technology with billion-dollar potential

The saxonian startup led by OLED veterans Jan Blochwitz-Nimoth, Carsten Rothe and Volodymyr Senkovskyy is developing a technology that will make it possible to more effectively and power-efficiently show the color blue in OLED displays. If this succeeds, a billion-dollar market will be open to the company, as OLED displays are used not only in smartphones but also in numerous other devices, such as tablets, laptops and televisions. Together with other investors, eCAPITAL co-led the €13.3 million financing round.
