Junior Controller (f/m/d)

To support our controlling team, we are looking for a Junior Controller (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

  • Controlling of our four venture capital funds and underlying 32 portfolio companies
  • Support of portfolio reporting and portfolio management
  • Preparation of captables including calculations and scenario analyses of liquidation preferences
  • Plausibility check of budgets and review of annual financial statements
  • Preparation of ad-hoc analyses
  • Support for payment transactions and regulatory issues
  • Working with fund administration on fund-related tasks such as payments, capital calls and company valuations
  • System maintenance and further development of company-specific key figures and controlling tools
  • Supporting the development of an infrastructure to streamline internal processes and workflows
  • Preparation of decision documents and presentations for internal and external use

Your Profile

  • Very good understanding of numbers, a strong analytical and conceptual mindset and a quick grasp of new ideas
  • Business studies (at least Bachelor’s degree) with a focus on finance / accounting / controlling and/or business informatics
  • High motivation to dive deep into new topics
  • Interest in working with databases and IT
  • Initial professional experience in controlling desirable, but not required
  • Very good knowledge / confident handling of MS-Office, especially Microsoft Excel
  • First experiences with programming databases via VBA and/or SQL (optional)
  • Excellent communication skills in German (C1 Level) and very good skills in English
  • Accurate, efficient and independent working methods
  • Initiative to bring in own ideas and solutions
  • You enjoy working in a successful and dynamic team
